Throughout my time in the Washington, I worked hard to support the state-of-the-art research facility at the CDC lab in Fort Collins.
I was honored yesterday to receive a tour of the facility and I was impressed by what I saw.
They are doing some great research at the lab and the people of Loveland, Fort Collins and Larimer County should be appreciative of the work the lab does.
The lab's work is critical. The 165,000-square-foot building is the only infectious disease research and diagnostic facility operated by the CDC outside of Atlanta, where the agency is based.
